Veltman ontsnapt aan rood na charge op Fernandes: 'Shocker of a tackle'
In Engeland snapt men niet dat Joël Veltman niet van het veld is gestuurd tijdens de wedstrijd van Brighton & Hove Albion op bezoek bij Manchester United (2-1 verlies). Bij de 1-1 van Marcus Rashford leverde de verdediger knullig de bal in, om vervolgens Bruno Fernandes keihard van achteren te tackelen. De scheidsrechter merkte het incident niet op, maar op social media wordt er nog veel over nagesproken.
Nobody is gonna talk about it since we won, but that Veltman tackle on Bruno was so dangerous, and should have been a red. Literally as if he was doing it to injure him...
