'Als je twijfels over Klaassen hebt, doneer je hersenen dan aan de wetenschap'
Terwijl Ajax Davy Klaassen keihard mist, wordt door fans van Everton hard gediscussieerd hoe goed de Nederlander is. Immers, in drie van zijn vier eerste wedstrijden voor The Toffees werd hij vroegtijdig gewisseld.
Tegen Hajduk Split, donderdag in de Europa League, verliet hij na iets meer dan een uur het veld, net zoals afgelopen weekend in de Premier League. Tijdens de wedstrijd was er op social media voorzichtig wat gemor over de uitblijvende impact van Klaassen. Zijn criticasters werden na afloop echter overspoeld door de rest van de Everton-fans. De strekking: hoe kun je niet zien dat Klaassen een enorme aanwinst is?
Daarbij werd onder meer zijn rol in de tweede Everton-goal aangestipt: afjagen, bal veroveren, goede spelvoortzetting: doelpunt. Onder de video doen we een greep uit de reacties op Twitter.
